City to begin annual repairs to shared use paths
September 14, 2018

The city of Sanibel will begin its annual repairs to the shared use paths on Sept. 17.

For safety, the areas under repair will be barricaded off from users, according to officials.

Path users are reminded to use caution while navigating around construction zones.

Every year, the city inspects all 26.06 miles of the paths and prioritizes the needs for repairs. This year's repairs total about $92,330. The contractor is required to complete the project within 30 days, weather permitting.
